Vergeworks is a small, focused repair service in Bang Lamung — where each watch is assessed, documented, and returned in better condition than it arrived.
How Vergeworks Began
Vergeworks opened on Beach Road in 2013, at a time when the area had no dedicated watch repair presence that took both mechanical and diver watches seriously. The founder, Anuwat Lerttanasombat, had spent years working alongside horologists in Chiang Mai before relocating to the coast — drawn by the demand for diver-specific work in an active, water-facing community.
The name reflects the workshop's way of working: steady, considered, and focused on what the movement needs rather than what's quickest to complete. Over time, the client base widened from local divers to include collectors, expatriates, and Thai watch enthusiasts who send pieces from across the country.
The workshop has remained small by design. That size is part of what makes the work consistent — one person assesses, one person works, and the person who answers your questions is the same person who opened the case.

The mission at Vergeworks is simple: return each watch in better condition than it arrived, with clear documentation of what was found and what was done. No assumptions, no guesswork, no work carried out without the owner's knowledge.
- Honest assessment first. We look at the watch before quoting. You hear what we found, not what we assumed.
- Written records on every job. A plain-language summary accompanies your watch on return — useful for insurance, resale, or future servicing.
- No work without consent. Scope and cost are discussed and agreed before anything is opened or replaced.
- Coastal context understood. Humidity, salt air, and active use all affect watches differently here. That knowledge shapes how we assess and service each piece.

Lead Watchmaker
Over 17 years working on mechanical and diver movements. Specialises in regulation, movement cleaning, and water-resistance assessment for coastal use.
Praewa Kittisak
Strap & Case Technician
Handles strap fitting, pin work, bracelet adjustment, and case condition documentation. Precise, detail-oriented, and fast without cutting corners.
Narumon Srisuk
Client Liaison
Manages intake, service records, and communication with clients. Ensures nothing moves between stages without a clear record and the owner's agreement.

Condition Documentation at Intake
Every watch is photographed and logged when it arrives. Existing marks, scratches, and functional issues are noted before any work begins.
Moisture & Pressure Testing
Water-resistance observations are carried out before and after gasket renewal on all sport and diver work. Results are included in the service report.
Quality Parts Sourcing
Replacement gaskets, straps, and pins are sourced from established suppliers. We do not use unbranded generic parts for anything load-bearing or seal-critical.
Timing Observation Records
For movement work, timing readings are taken in multiple positions both before and after the service. The before/after comparison is included in the written report.
Secure Storage During Service
Watches are stored individually in labelled trays and kept in a locked cabinet when not actively being worked on. No pieces are left unattended on an open bench.
Post-Service Follow-Up
Clients are invited to return if they notice anything unexpected in the days after collection. Adjustments within the scope of the completed service are carried out at no additional cost.

Vergeworks was set up with this context in mind. The workshop handles strap and bracelet work for watches that see daily coastal use, movement regulation for pieces that have picked up timing drift over months of wear, and diver restoration for watches that have been used — and sometimes neglected — in actual water.
The Bang Lamung location means quick access for residents of Pattaya, Na Jomtien, and surrounding areas, while the workshop also accepts watches sent by post or courier from elsewhere in Thailand. Service communication can be carried out in English or Thai. Turnaround is discussed honestly at intake — we don't commit to timelines we can't keep.
